Is there a fee to attend?
No, there isn’t a fee to attend. However, registration is required. Please register here.
Are there parking regulations for my personal vehicle?
All visitors must purchase a parking pass for their personal vehicles. Passes can be purchased online prior to arrival or at the Welcome Center at the entrance of campus on University Ave.
Are there parking regulations for buses?
All visitors arriving by marked buses will have to be dropped off at Paris-Yates Chapel and the bus will have to park at the Jackson Ave Center. If the driver wishes to come back to campus, he/she must take Bronze Line (O.U.T Bus) from the Jackson Ave Center to Paris-Yates Chapel. This bus arrives every 5 minutes.
Are there lunch options on campus?
We have several eateries on campus for your lunch options.
Rebel Market – All you can eat with several stations that include: Bakery, Cold Line, Deli, Fruit & Yogurt, Grill (Burger & Fries), LTO, Gluten Free, Mongolian, Pasta, Pizza, Salad, Service Line (Comfort Cuisine), Stir-Fry, Sushi & Freshii (downstairs)
The Union Food Court – Chick-Fila, Qdoba, McAllister’s, Which-Wich, Panda Express,
The Grill at 1810 – All you can eat with several stations that include: Comfort Line, International, Lighter Fair, Deli – Make to Order Sandwich, Pasta, Salad, Smoothie, Soup
The Pavilion – Raising Cane’s & Steak n’ Shake
Minor Hall – Papa Johns
How should I prepare for this visit?
Please come with all questions and concerns that you may have about entrance and matriculation in our graduate programs. Faculty members are eager to meet you and look forward to erasing any doubt you have about applying.
Do I have to be a graduating senior to attend?
No. All are welcome to attend.
Do I have to live in the state of MS to attend?
No. If you are traveling from out of state, please check the Accommodations tab for local hotels and discounts that have been established.
How should I dress and will there be walking?
Attire is business casual. Yes, there will be walking. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Do I have to be a current applicant to attend?
We encourage all those who have an interest in our programs to come and learn more about our offerings.
Will there be any incentives given when I attend?
There may be! We look forward to seeing you on February 8th!
